Great Malvern Farmers Market
Myrtle’s Kitchen began with a mango in 2014, making our award winning mango chutney. The range continued to grow over the next 6 years. We are thrilled to supply some amazing retailers such as Liberty’s of London and we are hugely proud of the Great Taste Awards we have for many of our chutneys and preserves.
However, a curve ball arrived….Covid.
With a lot of our stockists closed, and still with rent to pay on the kitchen, a fast pivot of our business was required. It was essential to me to stay true to Myrtle’s Kitchen.
DELICIOUS – INVENTIVE – VIBRANT – AUTHENTIC – UNIQUE
I also knew that I could not implement plans on my own. Enter Emily!
Emily Knapp is a great friend and my neighbour at the Hop Pocket, where my kitchen is based. Finding herself in the same boat and with a background in catering and hotel management, we put our thinking caps on. What followed was our home delivery service of pastries and pasties. A range of pastries, ingredients all locally sourced supporting local businesses and farmers. Great staples for a meal but also comforting food.
WOW! We couldn’t have even begun to imagine how popular they would be. Every week we hit the road, delivering throughout Herefordshire to your homes. We now deliver every two weeks.
